• Eddie Brock & Flash Thompson, Eddie Brock & Peter Parker & Venom Symbiote, Eddie Brock/Flash Thompson, Eddie Brock/Flash Thompson/Venom Symbiote, Eddie Brock/Peter Parker/Venom Symbiote, Peter Parker & Venom Symbiote, Peter Parker/Venom Symbiote — We're wondering if you would prefer a specific comic version of any of these characters. Marvel 616 is the one people usually mean, but there are a lot of options — here for example is a page with all of the alternate versions of Peter Parker.
• If you don’t care what comics version you get, that’s fine! Please let us know and we’ll accept these tags as-is right away.
• If you do want specific comics versions, you can let us know or you can change your nominations yourself.
• If we don’t hear from you either way we’ll accept these as-is, probably at the end of nominations.

• I'm fairly sure that these are the same fandom, and that we should merge them, but it feels like there's a chance that they're different and that the nominators nominated them separately for a reason.
• Should these be merged? If we hear nothing we'll leave them as-is, under the assumption that people nominating their fandoms know what they're about, but please speak up if they're actually the same fandom!

Elder Scrolls

• Female Dovahkiin | Dragonborn/Serana — This tag had drifted into all of the Elder Scrolls games but Serana is only a character in Skyrim according to google, so this tag is now “Female Dovahkiin | Dragonborn/Serana (Skyrim)”!

The Thrawn fandoms are definitely completely different! Long story short: the Thrawn Trilogy (1991-1993) was a popular part of the old Star Wars Expanded Universe. When they created the Star Wars sequel trilogy, the Star Wars EU was rebranded as Star Wars Legends (and no longer considered canonical). But since Thrawn had been such a popular character, they later brought him into the new canon and so there is a new series (which started in 2017). I haven't had a chance to read the new series yet, but I believe there is very little overlap in characters other than Thrawn, and of course they're set in entirely different Star Wars continuities now that Legends isn't canonical (though it will always be canon in my heart...)

Ahhh, I always forget that they redid the EU, thus leading to even more confusion for me that usual! We will of course leave them as-is. Thanks for the info!

Hello, I nominated 盾の勇者の成り上がり - アネコユサギ | Tate no Yuusha no Nariagari | The Rising of the Shield Hero - Aneko Yusagi

However, I hadn't realized until it appeared in the tagset that the canonical tag only refered to the light novel. And what I wanted to nominate was anime/manga adaptation that I had actually consumed. Would it be possible to modify the fandom tag so that it would be for anime or anime&manga?

Yes we can definitely do that for you! I'm not familiar with the fandom, however, so I'm not sure what the clearest fandom tag would be. Maybe "The Rising of the Shield Hero (Anime)" or "The Rising of the Shield Hero (Anime & Manga)"? There isn't much synned to the light novel tag, so whatever you think is clearest would probably work.

I would ask for "The Rising of the Shield Hero (Anime & Manga)" then. Both anime and manga adaptations are similar enough that there shouldn't be any issue.

Hi, I'm the person who nominated all the Marvel ships with various combinations of Peter/Eddie/Flash/Venom. Yes, I do want Marvel 616 specifically. For clarity, could you either change it to Marvel 616 or Venom (Comics)? I'm having trouble editing the fandom myself on the nominations page.

Oh yeah it freezes you out because "Marvel (Comics)" is already accepted. :( We'll add them all in under the 616 fandom for you so that you don't have to use another fandom slot! Once you see them under the 616 fandom (which might take me a bit to get around to) you can feel free to delete your nominations.
